The DARK.BIKE Flatkilla is a bicycle wheel protection insert designed for use in tubeless systems. The insert effectively protects the rim and tire against damage. Flatkilla prevents the rim edge from hitting the ground, while dampening impacts and vibrations. It allows the use of lower air pressure in the wheels, which increases traction in difficult terrain. Flatkilla protective inserts are recommended for Downhill, Enduro, Trail and MTB use.
The inserts have a special port that allows the sealing fluid to pass through, so it can be applied through a valve. Inflating the tire is always easy, regardless of the type of valve used. The profile of the insert allows fluid to flow freely during the rotation of the wheel. The rim on the inner side of the liner is responsible for keeping it in place in any situation, the Flatkilla will not move or roll inside the tire.
Flatkilla protective inserts were designed and manufactured in Poland. Made of specially selected high-density foam with a closed structure that does not absorb sealing fluid. The foam absorbs shocks and vibrations which are noticeably less transferred to your legs and arms.
